HOW TO EXTERMINATE MOTHS AT HOME?
If signs of food or clothes moths are detected, find and destroy the fireplace, then thoroughly clean the walls, ceilings, shelves, cupboards and their crevices. A mild alkaline cleaning solution can be used (any dishwashing liquid will do). Sometimes nests can even curl up on uneven ceilings, so all corners, ceilings above cupboards and in storage rooms should be carefully examined.
It is also advisable to sift through all flour products, cereals, porridge and put them in plastic containers with tight-fitting lids. All teas and spices that have been pierced should be inspected; simply hold the packet up to a light source and, if the threads are visible, or if particles of the product are seen to be gently vibrating on the walls, it is a moth-infested product.

Old or dirty clothes are also very attractive to moths, so you should go through your wardrobe and take out some of your clothes that have not been touched for a long time, especially coats and jackets made of thicker fabrics, and cotton knitwear.
